Applying for a PROMISE Scholarship, Higher Education Grant, or Higher Education Adult Part-Time Student (HEAPS) Grant is as easy as:

  1. Creating a new account on the West Virginia Mentor.
     

  2. Accessing the on-line application form.
     

  3. Filling in any fields that have not been automatically completed for you by the West Virginia Mentor.
     

  4. Transferring your Mentor account information to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form using the quick and easy West Virginia Mentor FAFSA Transfer Module after January 1, 2008.
